SIMA Smart Grid Installation and Commissioning at EDC Dispatching Command Center in Phnom Penh

On October 20, 2026, VP.Start’s engineering team successfully completed the installation and commissioning of the DRC Series and SIMA Smart Grid system at the Dispatching Command Center (DCC) of Électricité du Cambodge (EDC) in Phnom Penh.

Through this integration, SIMA Smart Grid supports more efficient electricity network management and contributes to a more reliable power supply for our consumers.

This deployment reflects EDC’s ongoing commitment to modernizing its electricity distribution network and advancing smarter grid operations. The SIMA Smart Grid system enables our consumers to monitor and manage network conditions while collecting data for network performance analysis and power quality assessment.

Furthermore, the system helps identify electrical equipment that may require inspection or preventive maintenance, support timely interventions and reduce the risk of potential power outages.
