Battambang’s Legacy and VP.Start’s Journey Toward the Future

Different cities and the EDC offices that they host, have a different atmosphere. Some are more rural and agricultural, some are more sophisticated and modern. To my mind, Battambang is a city of history.

History is a valuable business asset. History is intimately connected to the present and indeed, the future.

To be brutally honest, some parts of our history are not sources of pride. But they are reality and we need to accept them. They are a form of data that drives us.

VP.Start knows its company history, from an unknown startup with no revenue to today, where we are transitioning to a larger company with grander aspirations on the global stage.

To understand our traction going forward, you must first understand where we have come from and what challenges we have surmounted already.

Battambang is also a city based on the Sangke River, flowing through the heart of the city.

This is a perfect picture of what VP.Start intends to do. We recognise our history, we accept our failures and successes, but we don't dwell on the past. Like the mighty Sangke, we flow on in a natural rhythm, and let innovation through technology take us to the next stage.
