VP.Start Presentation at EDC Sihanoukville for Showcase About LMS and PLUM App

On 28th May 2025, the expert engineers of VP.Start presented the LMS (Low Voltage Distribution System) and PLUM (Power Line Utility Management) application to the management and other electrical engineers of EDC Sihanoukville.

LMS is an intuitive system designed to digitize the traditional process of managing LVDBs (Low Voltage Distribution Boards). This robust system can seamlessly manage, inspect, monitor, and collect extensive data from LVDBs and transformers without manual intervention. A key feature of LMS is its ability to provide instant alerts for overcurrent on any LVDB feeder and overtemperature in transformers. These capabilities enable electrical operators to take immediate action, helping prevent potential fire hazards.

Simultaneously, the engineers also demonstrated PLUM, an ecosystem application developed for managing the entire grid via a smartphone. With PLUM, grid operators can monitor real-time data and track the overall health status of the grid anytime, anywhere. Additionally, they receive instant notifications when faults or anomalies occur in power lines—a critical feature for enhancing grid resilience, efficiency, and reliability.
