What Challenges Can DRC-006 Tackle In Distribution Grid Management?

Two people aim to find technology to manage Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) in underground distribution grid networks.
One person bought a new smart RTU device that enables remote control and provides alarms when faults or equipment failures occur.
The other aims to find a solution to simply integrate with existing RTU that has the same capabilities as described above.

So, which option is more cost-efficient?
How about the control system? A silo platform or an ecosystem?

There are many technology options that we can choose from, but selecting the right one is challenging. What we think is cost-efficiency, after implementing those tools whether they can make more benefits and offer rapid return on investment or not.

At VP.Start, we don’t merely focus on modern technology; we prioritize powerful and valuable solutions that truly make a difference. We strive to innovate solutions that provide more benefits for our users—starting from consultation to modernization that enables to receive measurable benefits.

Just like the DRC-006, which is a data-driven solution designed to upgrade an aging RTU into a smarter, adaptive, and more connected system. It addresses numerous challenges in RTU operations, moving toward completely digital management without costly replacement. Utilities can monitor the overall status of the RTU, reducing outages and leakages, and optimizing efficiency, making the entire grid smarter, more resilient, and more reliable.
